This eyelet tool DIN 7332 is designed for setting self-piercing eyelets to DIN 7332. It guides the eyelet safely and is exclusively intended for this eyelet system.
Combined with a presse à frappe à ressort or presse à genouillère , punching and eyeletting can be done in one operation. With very dense, hard or multi-layer materials the material should be prepared before setting.

Ösenwerkzeut DIN 7332
Ich bin voll zufrieden mit diesem Werkzeug. Es gibt keine ausgefransten Ränder an Ösen mehr. Sie sitzen präzise und fest im Stoff. Ich habe auch schon Patches aus Leder mit Ösen versehen und es hat super funktioniert.

Fantastisch
Mit diesem Werkzeug lassen sich die selbstschneidenden Ösen hervorragend auf den Stoff eindrücken. Getestet auf Softshell, Jersey und Baumwolle. Das Werkzeug lässt sich einfach in der Presse einsetzen. Kann ich jeder Hobbynäherin wärmstens empfehlen. Keine ausgerissenen Ösen mehr.
Does this eyelet tool fit my press?
The tool is intended for spring-strike press and toggle press. It has 1/4" - 20 UNC on top and a lower tool part for the 12-mm mount. It is not recommended for TEP-2 and screw press.
Which size do I need to choose?
The tool size must exactly match the size of the DIN 7332 eyelet. For this listing 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm are confirmed.
Can I work without pre-punching with this tool?
Often yes. With tarpaulins, banners, PVC/vinyl, canvas, textiles and many leather applications one-step punching is often possible. With dense, hard or multi-layer materials the material should be prepared.

Can I also set standard eyelets with it?
No. This tool is exclusively designed for self-piercing eyelets to DIN 7332.
Can I still use the screw press for small DIN eyelets?
No. The recommendation against it is clear, even with small DIN eyelets.
What should I note with the spring-strike press?
Tighten the upper tool part firmly with suitable pliers and check the fit regularly. This prevents the thread from loosening due to the spring strike.

Size logic
- The tool size must always exactly match the inner diameter of the DIN 7332 eyelet .
- So choose the same millimetre size as the eyelet you want to process.

- This tool has a 1/4" - 20 UNC thread, which matches the standard of our presses.
Use in the press
- Screw the upper tool part fully into the suitable press.
- Insert the lower tool part into the 12-mm mount.
- Position material and eyelet cleanly before pressing.
- Check the upper tool part regularly for secure fit and retighten if needed.
- In the spring-strike press the upper tool part should be tightened firmly with suitable pliers.

- With multi-layer or particularly robust material stacks, one-step punching depends on the material and chosen eyelet size.
- For dense webbing, elastic and very hard or rigid materials, pre-punching or another eyelet system is advisable.
