Product information "Screw Press T105 B-stock"

The screw press T-105 is aimed at hobby users who want to cover fabric buttons and press small consumables such as snap fasteners, hollow rivets and eyelets in a controlled way. Unlike a lever press the T-105 can be used while seated — provided it is firmly mounted to the workbench.

The screw mechanism works downward and needs practically no clearance above the press. The work area remains usable even under low furniture or shelves as long as the press stands securely.

On top the press accepts common tools with 1/4-inch-20-UNC thread; below a 12 mm receptacle is provided. For tools with 9 mm lower part an adapter bushing 19 to 9 mm is included. Matching pressing tools and consumables are not included.

Must the screw press be bolted down?
Yes. The press is intended for operation at the workbench; three mounting screws are included.
Which eyelets can I set with this press?
Standard eyelets with 3 to 8 mm inner diameter are usable with matching tool. DIN 7332 eyelets are excluded.
How much force do I need when pressing?
This depends on material and task: with small consumables rather low to medium, with larger covered buttons up to size 36 rather medium to stronger. Very large buttons or large eyelets are generally intended for stronger presses.
Is a hex key included?
No. The package contains the press, the adapter bushing 19 to 9 mm and mounting screws — no hex key.
Why do I need less space above the press?
The screw moves the tool downward. You do not need to swing a high lever upward as with many lever presses.
Can I use Prym tools?
For Prym tools on Getmore presses there is a separate adapter; check the matching combination of press, adapter and tool.
Are spare parts such as the screw bushing available individually?
If you need a spare part please contact support — a binding spare parts list is not shown here.

Applications and functions

Workflow in practice

  • Screw in tool with 1/4-inch-20 UNC on top and choose lower guide accordingly ( 12 mm receptacle or with adapter bushing 19 to 9 mm for 9 mm lower part)
  • Align material and consumable cleanly and press via the screw with controlled pressure

Technical performance limits

  • Standard eyelets with 3–8 mm inner diameter with matching tool; no DIN 7332 eyelets
  • Very large covered buttons or large eyelet diameters generally require a stronger press

Setup and space requirements

  • Fixed mounting to the workbench is intended; mounting screws are included
  • Because of the screw principle practically no additional stroke space is needed above the press

Operating notes

  • Check pressing tool regularly for secure fit
  • Additional thread adapters for this press are not available from Getmore

With Getmore Crafts products

With products from other manufacturers

  • Basically usable with tools that fit the 1/4-inch-20-UNC receptacle on top and the lower 12 mm or via adapter the 9 mm guide
  • No additional thread adapters from Getmore for this press — other adapters only after own check of fit and safety
