Product information "Hollow Rivets Double Head, Single Head - Steel, Brass"
Hollow rivets for riveting fabrics, leather and similar materials — as double head with decorative heads on both sides or as single head when one side should remain visually understated. You choose cap diameter, material, colour and pack size to suit your project.
Available in steel and brass (rust-free) as well as in silver, gold, antique and black. Typical uses include bags, belts, clothing, backpacks, jewellery and small leather goods.
For setting, use a matching hollow rivet tool in the respective size together with a Getmore press or a setting aid . Punch the material with a 2.5 mm hole punch before setting the rivet.

What is the difference between double-head and single-head hollow rivets?
Double-head rivets show a decorative head on both sides. Single-head rivets have a clearly recognisable front side — the back remains functional and often flatter.
What hole should I prepare?
We assume pre-punching with a 2.5 mm diameter. Please refer to the measurement data for your chosen variant for the actual shank diameter — the specific values are stored there per SKU.
Which press or setting aid do I need?
You can use all Getmore Crafts presses and setting aids — what matters is the matching hollow rivet tool in the rivet size and for the chosen head shape.
Can I set the hollow rivets with the TEP-2?
Yes. Use a hollow rivet tool that matches the size and head shape.
Brass or steel — when to use which?
Steel is generally harder and suitable for higher mechanical stress. Brass is softer and easy to work; it is especially suitable for decorative surfaces and many applications in leather and textiles.
What do the quantities 1, 50 and 100 mean?
These are the available pack sizes. You order the quantity that suits your project.
Can I use a third-party tool?
It may work if dimensions and mechanics match. However, we cannot guarantee function for tools from other manufacturers.

- Double head: Visible flat head on both sides — symmetrical look, suitable when both sides of the work are visible.
- Single head: One side with the decorative head, the reverse functional — when one side should remain discreet.
Material
- Steel: Robust, suitable for higher mechanical stress.
- Brass: Softer, popular for decorative surfaces and many leather and textile applications. Rust-free.
Colour
- Silver, gold, antique, black: Colour coordination with project and hardware — exact surface finish may vary by version.

The size refers to the cap diameter of the rivet.

Processing note
Set the rivet with a matching hollow rivet tool and sufficient force — for very thick material stacks, choose the appropriate shank length or rivet size.
