Product information "Setting punch for DIN 7332 eyelets"
Two-piece setting punch in hardened tool steel for DIN 7332 round eyelets with a hammer. Size is the inside diameter: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm — punch and eyelet must match.
For tarps, banners and heavy outdoor work without a press. Hammer from about 750 g. Grooved grip. Not a 1/4"-20 UNC press die.
DIN 7332 eyelets are not included. Pre-punch for this hammer tool (hole = inside diameter). Not for standard eyelets. At 16 mm the washer is toothed.

What is included?
The two-piece setting punch in the chosen size (10, 12, 14 or 16 mm). Eyelets, washers and hammer are not included.
What does size mean?
Inside diameter of the DIN 7332 eyelet. Punch and eyelet must match.
Do I pre-punch?
Yes with this hammer punch. Hole = inside diameter. In a press the same DIN eyelets are self-piercing.
Can I set standard eyelets?
No. DIN 7332 round eyelets only.
Does it fit a Getmore press?
No. There is no 1/4"-20 UNC thread. Use the separate DIN press die in a press.
Which hammer?
From about 750 g, on a solid surface, controlled strikes.
Size
- 10, 12, 14 or 16 mm inside diameter — punch and DIN eyelet must match.
- 16 mm: toothed washer on the eyelet.
Punch
- Two-piece hardened tool steel, grooved grip. No 1/4"-20 UNC — will not screw into a Getmore press.
Use
- Set DIN 7332 round eyelets in tarps, banners and heavy outdoor work with a hammer, without a press.
- Size 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm is the inside diameter and the punch size.
Preparation
- For this hammer punch, pre-punch to the inside diameter. The same DIN eyelets are self-piercing in a press.
- Hammer from about 750 g, solid backing.
Workflow
- Place the lower punch, align eyelet and work (16 mm washer has teeth).
- Fit the upper punch.
- Strike until eyelet and washer seat. Test on scrap first.
With Getmore Crafts products
- Only DIN 7332 eyelets in the same size (10–16 mm) plus washer.
- Not for standard eyelets and not for 1/4"-20 UNC DIN press dies.
- For workshop series work use a spring-strike press or toggle press with DIN press tooling.
