Product information "Universal setting punch set for standard eyelets"
This set pairs the universal setting punch (1/4"-20 UNC) with a matching eyelet die for standard eyelets, or the punch alone. Work with a hammer: screw in the upper die, seat the lower die, set the eyelet.
Size is the inside diameter and the die size: 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 10 / 12 / 17 mm.
Standard eyelets and the hole punch are not included. Eyelets are not self-piercing. Brass (to 17 mm) for clothing; stainless for moisture and load; steel for indoor budget use. Not for DIN 7332.

What is in each variant?
Always the universal setting punch. With a size, the matching standard-eyelet die. Without tool: punch only. Eyelets, hole punch and hammer are not included.
What does size mean?
Inside diameter of the standard eyelet and the die size. The pre-punched hole must match.
Do I need to pre-punch?
Yes. Standard eyelets are not self-piercing.
Can I set DIN 7332 eyelets?
No. This set is for standard eyelets only.
Can I use the die in a press later?
Yes, if the press has 1/4"-20 UNC on top, e.g. TEP-2.
Size

- Without tool: punch only.
- Brass eyelets 3–17 mm; stainless 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 mm; steel 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12 mm — sold separately.
Use
- Standard eyelets in fabric, leather, tarps, bags, banners and DIY — with a hammer and setting punch.
- Brass for clothing, stainless steel for moisture/outdoor, steel for dry indoor projects.
Preparation
- Pre-punch: hole diameter = eyelet inside diameter. Matching hole punch sold separately.
Workflow
- Screw the upper eyelet die into the 1/4"-20 UNC thread.
- Place the lower die shank in the base.
- Punch the material if needed.
- Load the eyelet shank-up, fabric, then washer; strike the punch in a controlled way.
With Getmore Crafts products
- For standard eyelets with washers. Eyelet, die and hole must match.
- 1/4"-20 UNC dies also fit Getmore presses with that thread.
- Pre-punch with a matching hole punch (not in the set).
- Not for DIN 7332 eyelets.
