This hole punch tool is designed for punching round holes in leather, faux leather, felt and cardboard. The selected tool size always corresponds directly to the resulting hole diameter.
The upper tool part (hole punch) is screwed into a suitable press with M6 or M8 depending on the variant. The brass anvil sits in the 12 mm holder and protects the tool during punching.

What size do I need for my hole punch tool?
The tool size always corresponds directly to the resulting hole diameter. For a 4 mm hole, choose a 4.0 mm hole punch tool.
Does this hole punch tool fit my press?
This listing is intended for presses with M6 or M8 thread. A matching 12 mm holder for the brass anvil is also required at the bottom.
Which materials can I process with this hole punch tool?
The hole punch tool is designed for leather, faux leather, felt, rubber, soft plastics and firm cardboard materials. These materials can generally be punched cleanly. Firm, tightly woven fabrics (e.g. canvas) are conditionally suitable but may fray or distort depending on structure. Very soft, thin or elastic fabrics as well as paper are not recommended as clean hole edges cannot be achieved.
Can I use it to prepare holes for eyelets, snap fasteners or hollow rivets?
Yes. For standard eyelets, choose the hole size to match the inner diameter of the eyelet. For our snap fastener and hollow rivet applications, a 2.5 mm hole is used.
Is the brass anvil included in the delivery?
Yes. You always receive the hole punch tool as a two-part set with upper tool part and lower brass anvil.
Can I also use the hole punch tool with a hammer?
That is not recommended. This tool is designed for use in a suitable press.

Selection guide
- Choose the size to match the required hole diameter.
- Choose the thread to match your existing press.
Application in the press
- Screw the upper tool part fully into the press with M6 or M8 depending on the selected variant.
- Insert the lower brass anvil into the 12 mm holder.
- Place the material neatly and carry out the punching process with even pressure.
- Check the upper tool part regularly for a secure fit and retighten if needed.
Suitable materials
- Well suited: Leather, faux leather, felt, rubber, soft plastics and firm cardboard materials. These materials offer sufficient resistance for clean and precise holes.
- Conditionally suitable: Firm, tightly woven fabrics (e.g. canvas or webbing). Results may vary depending on material structure as fibres can distort or fray during punching.
- Limited suitability: Very soft, thin or elastic fabrics. These materials give way during pressing and often cannot be punched cleanly. Reinforcement or punching through multiple layers can improve results.
- Not recommended: Paper and very thin materials. These can tear during punching or fail to form a clean hole edge.
For optimal results, the material should have a certain firmness and dimensional stability. A sharp hole punch and a suitable anvil additionally support a clean cutting edge.

- For all Getmore Crafts hollow rivets and snap fasteners, a 2.5 mm hole punch tool is required.
- For Getmore Crafts eyelets, always choose the hole size to match the stated eyelet size or inner diameter.
- Not suitable for Getmore Crafts presses with 1/4"-20 UNC upper thread – the separate UNC version is required for those.
With products from other manufacturers
- Usable with presses that have M6 or M8 upper thread (depending on selected variant).
- A matching 12 mm holder for the lower brass anvil is required.
- For presses with 1/4"-20 UNC upper thread, the corresponding UNC version of the hole punch tool is required.
