Cover buttons and set small fasteners: The press is mainly intended for covering button blanks with fabric or leather up to common size 36. It also suits small consumables such as snap fasteners, hollow rivets and eyelets within the stated system limits.
Less clearance needed above: You work with a spindle instead of a high lever stroke. Vertical space above the press stays low — practical when bench space is tight.
1/4-inch system with 12 mm base: Screw in tools with 1/4-inch-20 UNC at the top; use the 12 mm holder at the bottom. For tools with 9 mm lower part, the matching 19 to 9 mm adapter bushing is included so guidance fits your punch.
Force feel via the spindle: Effort depends on material and task — from rather low for small consumables to firmer for larger covered buttons. The process stays controllable for many applications.
Limits and scope clear: Standard eyelets with 3–8 mm inner diameter are usable with the matching tool; eyelets to DIN 7332 are excluded, and very large covered buttons or large eyelets generally require a stronger press.
The screw press T-105 is aimed at hobby users who want to cover fabric buttons and set small consumables such as snap fasteners, hollow rivets and eyelets in a controlled way. Unlike a lever press, the T-105 can be used while seated — provided it is firmly mounted to the workbench.
The spindle mechanism works downward and needs practically no clearance above the press. The work area remains usable even under low furniture or shelves, as long as the press stands securely.
At the top, the press accepts common tools with 1/4-inch-20 UNC thread; at the bottom a 12 mm holder is provided. For tools with 9 mm lower part, a 19 to 9 mm adapter bushing is included. Matching press tools and consumables are not included.

Must the screw press be bolted down?+
Yes. The press is intended for operation on the workbench; three mounting screws are included.
Which eyelets can I set with this press?+
Standard eyelets with 3 to 8 mm inner diameter are usable with the matching tool. Eyelets to DIN 7332 are excluded.
How much force do I need for pressing?+
That depends on material and task: rather low to medium for small consumables, rather medium to firm for larger covered buttons up to size 36. Very large buttons or large eyelets are generally intended for stronger presses.
Is an Allen key included?+
No. The package contains the press, the 19 to 9 mm adapter bushing and mounting screws — no Allen key.
Why do I need less space above the press?+
The spindle moves the tool downward. You do not need to swing a high lever upward as with many lever presses.
Can I use Prym tools?+
There is a separate adapter for Prym tools on Getmore presses; check the matching combination of press, adapter and tool.
Are spare parts such as the spindle bushing available separately?+
If you need a spare part, please contact support — a binding spare parts list is not shown here.
Applications and functions
Covering fabric buttons with fabric or thin leather up to common size 36
Screw in tool with 1/4-inch-20 UNC at top and choose matching lower guide (12 mm holder or with 19 to 9 mm adapter bushing for 9 mm lower part; both are included with the press.)
Align material and consumable and press via the spindle with controlled pressure
Technical limits
Standard eyelets with 3–8 mm inner diameter with matching tool; no DIN 7332 eyelets
Very large covered buttons or large eyelet diameters generally require a stronger press
Setup and space
Permanent mounting on the workbench is intended; mounting screws are included
Because of the spindle principle, practically no additional stroke space is needed above the press
Operating notes
Check press tool regularly for a firm fit
No additional thread adapters for this press are available from Getmore
