Our presses are designed as universal presses: Every tool offered here can be screwed into any of our presses. This lets you process all compatible consumables from our range with any press. Please note, however, that the TEP-2 does not provide enough force to set DIN eyelets, and that additional adapters are required for covering buttons.

Start by considering which materials you mainly work with and how many parts you typically process. All presses in this category reliably set our eyelets, snap fasteners, rivets and button blanks – the differences lie mainly in handling, ergonomics and speed.
For occasional all-round use and smaller quantities, the TEP-2 eyeletting press is usually the best choice, especially if you want a compact solution that is easy to store. If you need especially fine pressure control – for example when covering buttons or working with delicate fabrics – the screw press is a good fit. If you regularly work at higher volumes across varied applications, the spring-strike press makes the job easier thanks to its supporting strike. In principle this is possible if threads, mounts and geometry match. However, we can only guarantee optimum results for combinations of our presses, tools and consumables. If you use third-party tools or presses, check the technical specifications very carefully and carry out test presses before production runs.
Pliers are portable and quick to hand, but they reach their limits quickly with thicker materials or larger eyelets and snap fasteners. Presses are mounted in place, transfer significantly more force and work with greater repeatability. If you regularly set eyelets, snap fasteners or rivets, or work with thicker materials, a press is the better long-term choice.
