This snap fastener tool sets sew-free metal snap fasteners with S-spring, ring spring or Jersey in a hand or lever press. The chosen type and millimeter size must match your snap fasteners so that the cap and closure are guided cleanly.
The upper tool part has a 1/4"-20 UNC thread and is intended for the Getmore Crafts presses offering this receptacle. Ring spring and S-spring variants come with four matching parts for cap and pin receptacles; Jersey variants come with three parts due to the different button geometry.
Without a press, the set cannot be used meaningfully. Choose the tool size based on the cap diameter of the snap fasteners you want to process.

ich habe die ersten 3 Größen gekauft , zur Sicherheit mit passenden Druckknöpfen . Aber ich kann auch Babysnap super verarbeiten . die Qualität der Einsätze ist hervorragend und passen optimal in meine Handspindelpresse von Prym ( M6 Gewinde )

Zu 99% alles in Ordnung!
Die Werkzeuge haben eine gute Qualität. Geliefert wurde
in kürzester Zeit. Der Kundenservice ist beispielhaft.
BEMERKUNG : Für die Benutzung mit einer Handpresse, bei der die untere Aufnahme 19mm beträgt, muss ein
Adapter dazugekauft werden. Das steht leider nicht in
der Beschreibung - deswegen nur 99% :)

What is the practical difference between ring spring, S-spring and Jersey?
S-spring is typically suitable for everyday use with medium closing force. Ring spring offers a higher holding force and is often chosen for robust or outdoor-oriented applications. Jersey is designed for elastic fabrics and is often used for baby and children's items.
Do I additionally need a press?

Why does Jersey come with only three parts, while ring spring and S-spring have four?
Jersey snap fasteners use three fastener parts with a more symmetrical counterpart, so three tool parts are enough. Ring spring and S-spring need separate receptacles for cap and pin, top and bottom, hence four parts each.
Can I set snap fasteners of one type with the tool of another type?
No. The tools are matched per variant to ring spring, S-spring or Jersey. Using the wrong tool leads to a poor fit or damaged parts.
How do I care for the tool parts?
