Product information "Adapter Bushing 19 to 12 mm"
The 19 to 12 mm adapter bushing turns presses with a 19 mm base bore into the right holder for lower tool parts with a 12 mm outer diameter. You can use eyelet, snap, hollow rivet and hole punch tools in the same press.
The bushing is inserted into the press base and secured with the side clamp screw. It is already included with our presses and is sold separately mainly as a spare part or for a second press.

Zu 99% alles in Ordnung!
Die Werkzeuge haben eine gute Qualität. Geliefert wurde in kürzester Zeit. Der Kundenservice ist beispielhaft.
BEMERKUNG : Es wäre sinnvoll, bereits beim Kauf der
Presswerkzeuge, einen Hinweis auf die Notwendigkeit
des Adapters zu finden. Davon steht aber leider nichts in der Beschreibung - deswegen nur 99% :)
Ideal und nöch besser wäre es, wenn der Adapter als
Zubehör gleich beim Kauf anbei liegen würde.

What do I need the 19 to 12 mm adapter bushing for?
You need the bushing when your press has a 19 mm base bore at the bottom and the lower tool part has a 12 mm outer diameter.
Which Getmore presses is the bushing compatible with?
The bushing fits the eyeletting press TEP-2, screw press, spring-strike press and other Getmore presses with a 19 mm base bore.
Can I also use M8 tools with the bushing?
Yes, if the tool has M8 thread at the top and 12 mm at the bottom. On many lever presses with M8 thread, this bushing is the right lower tool holder.
Is the bushing suitable for button tools for covering fabric?
No. For that you need the 19 to 9 mm bushing; on the spring-strike press the separate mount for button tool.
Why is the bushing sold separately if it is often already included with presses?
The bushing is already included with our presses. Buying it separately makes sense mainly as a spare part or for a second press.
How is the bushing secured?
Insert the bushing into the 19 mm bore of your press and tighten the side clamp screw.
When should I replace the bushing?
Only if the bushing is so deformed that tools can no longer be seated or secured cleanly. In practice this is very rare.

- The adapter bushing is used when the press has a 19 mm base bore at the bottom and the lower tool part has a 12 mm outer diameter.
- Typical tool families are eyelet tools, snap fastener tools, hollow rivet tools and hole punch tools with a 12 mm lower part.
- The bushing turns the 19 mm holder into a properly guided 12 mm tool holder.
Installation
- Insert the bushing into the lower 19 mm bore of your press.
- Insert the tool with 12 mm lower part into the bushing.
- Then tighten the side clamp screw of the press so that tool and bushing are securely fixed.
Practical limit
- For button tools for covering fabric, this 12 mm bushing is not the right choice.
- For this tool family you need the 19 to 9 mm bushing ; on the spring-strike press the separate mount for button tool .
