Product information "Spring-strike press"
The spring-strike press is a hand press for recurring setting of fasteners in textiles and leather. It is aimed at ambitious DIY users as well as workshops when you want to set eyelets, snap fasteners, hollow rivets, rivets and robust DIN 7332 eyelets cleanly and repeatably with matching tool.
Force is transmitted via a mechanical spring system with adjustable downforce. This keeps the pressing process even while you apply comparatively little force yourself and can work longer series controllably while seated.
A 1/4" - 20 UNC thread is provided at the top and a 12 mm holder at the bottom; you expand the system with suitable adapters and bushes. You additionally need the matching tool for setting.

Ich liebe mein neues Spielzeug. Und ich frage mich warum ich nicht schon eher von der "Ösenpresse" auf die "Federschlagpresse" umgestiegen bin. So leicht und ohne Kraftaufwand zu bedienen. Ich liebe es auch, dass man die Presse nach Bedarf neu justieren kann sowie die Höhe verstellen kann (Was beim Knopfbeziehen nötig ist). Danke auch an den tollen Kundenservice!

Einfache Handhabung und sehr gute Ergebnisse.
Das Anbringen von z.B. Druckknöpfen gelingt schnell und die Druckknöpfe sind auch leicht zu positionieren. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Presse sind vielseitig und das notwendige Zubehör ist schnell montiert.
Ein super Werkzeug! - Und die Beratung ist hervorragend. Das Arbeiten mit der Presse macht Spaß.

salve, quando ho letto nelle caratteristiche del prodotto : peso kg. 20, mi è sembrato un po' esagerato !!
invece mi sono ricreduto. ottimo prodotto , ancora non lo uso a regime ma ha delle caratteristiche molto funzionali

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Quali...
Das Produkt ist wertig und sehr massiv ausgeführt. Wir benützen die Presse zum setzen von Ösen und Druckknöpfen für diverse techn. Schutzplanen und Abdeckungen unserer Maschinen und Maschinenteilen... sowie für Textilien. Ein gutes Werkzeug!

Sehr hochwertig, simple Bedienung
Die Federschlagpresse wurde sehr schnell geliefert, ist durch ihr Eigengewicht sehr robust und standfest. Es lässt sich hervorragend damit auch in größeren Mengen arbeiten. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Voll und ganz zufrieden, sowohl mit dem Gerät als auch mit dem Service.
Wie ich das Paket bekommen habe, war ich erstaunt, dass das Gerät so groß ist. Auf den Bildern und Videos sieht es kleiner aus. Nachdem ich das Gerät aufgestellt und ausprobiert habe, bin ich einfach nur begeistert. Ich habe noch nie so schöne Ösen in ein Werkstück gemacht. Das ging ganz einfach und schnell. Ich hatte bei meiner Bestellung einen Fehler gemacht und diesbezüglich eine Mail geschrieben. Innerhalb von sehr kurzer Zeit war mein Problem erfolgreich erledigt.
Gerne kaufe ich wieder hier.

How much force do I need to apply when pressing myself?
The mechanical spring strike delivers the force impulse; you control the stroke and adjustment with comparatively little muscle power. This keeps recurring pressing operations controllable even over longer periods.
Is setting tool included in the scope of delivery?
No. The delivery includes the spring-strike press, a centring pin, a pressure pin and a manual. You need the matching tool separately for setting.
Do I need an additional holder for button covering tools?
Yes. For tools used to cover buttons with fabric, the button tool holder for the spring-strike press is additionally required.
Are screws for table mounting included?
No. Mounting screws are not included, although optional holes for table mounting are provided.
Can I use tools from other manufacturers?
Mechanically this is possible if thread, lower holder and free build height match. There is no blanket approval for all third-party manufacturers.
Are spare parts available for the press?
Individual parts are available on request. Contact Getmore Crafts customer service.
Do I need free space above the press?
No. No additional clearance above the press is needed for operation; it works well while seated.
How do I set the spring strike correctly?
Start with the weakest setting, make test pressings and increase strike strength only step by step when more force is needed. This protects tools and delicate fasteners.
Applications and functions
- With matching tool you set eyelets, snap fasteners, hollow rivets, rivets and robust DIN 7332 eyelets in common textiles and leather.
- Fabric-covered buttons are possible when you use the designated button tool holder and matching tool.
- With punch or die tools from the Getmore range you can carry out punching and die work when tool and material match.
Workflow in practice
- Install upper and lower tool set for the task and check the 12 mm holder or chosen reduction.
- Lay out the workpiece cleanly and carry out the stroke controllably until release.
- On new combinations, work on a test piece before starting series production.
Technical limits
- Each application and size needs the matching tool; without correct tool no clean pressing is possible.
- DIN 7332 eyelets require matching DIN tool and a press with sufficient force budget.
- Settings that are too hard increase wear and mis-set risk, especially with small eyelets, delicate snap fasteners and punch tools.
Setup and space requirements
- Due to high own weight the press usually stands stable on the bench; fixed mounting is generally not required.
- Four optional 10 mm diameter holes are available for table mounting; screws are not included.
- No additional clearance above the press is needed; operation while seated works well.
Operating notes
- Loosen the nut at the top of the piston and start with the weakest spring-strike setting.
- Carry out test pressings and increase strike strength only step by step when more force is really needed.
- This reduces wear and protects tools and delicate fasteners.
With Getmore Crafts products
- The spring-strike press is designed for all Getmore Crafts tools that use 1/4" - 20 UNC at the top and 12 mm at the bottom.
- For tools with M6 or M8 thread at the top use the matching Getmore thread adapters.
- For a 9 mm lower guide use the matching bush or holder from the related accessories.
- For Prym inserts a dedicated adapter for Getmore presses is available.
- For button tools for covering buttons with fabric, the button tool holder for the spring-strike press is additionally required.
With products from other manufacturers
- Tools can be used mechanically when upper thread and lower holder fit the press and build height is sufficient.
- There is no blanket manufacturer approval or documented test list for all third-party tools.
- Check thread, holder diameter and installation height on a scrap piece before first use.
