Product information "Holder for circle cutter"
The holder for circle cutter is the upper system part in the press: it keeps the circle cutter aligned and works together with the backing plate for circle cutter as the counter support. Without this holder, the matching circle cutter and the backing plate, punching circular cut-outs is not practical.
There are two variants: one for the TEP-2 eyeletting press and toggle press, and one only for the spring-strike press. In the spring-strike variant, a spring is integrated that ejects punched fabric discs from the holder and thus reduces typical follow-up work.

How does the holder differ from the backing plate for circle cutter?
The holder sits at the top in the press and holds the circle cutter. The backing plate sits at the bottom and forms the counter support when punching.
Do I also need a circle cutter and backing plate?
Yes. For use you need holder, circle cutter and backing plate together. Without one of the three parts the system is not practical to use.
Which variant do I need for my press?
For the TEP-2 eyeletting press and toggle press, choose the TEP-2 variant. For the spring-strike press, choose the spring-strike variant. The spring-strike variant only fits there.
Why is the screw press not suitable for circle cutters?
The screw mechanism does not allow clean circle-cutter punchings, even if the holder might fit mechanically.
Which circle cutter sizes are possible?
In the Getmore range, sizes from 18 to 50 mm in 2 mm steps are provided, without 46 mm and 48 mm.
Can I use circle cutters from other manufacturers?
Other manufacturers have not been tested. We cannot guarantee whether they will work.
Is the circle cutter sharp?
Yes. The circle cutter is very sharp. Beware of cut hazards and do not touch the cutting edge.
Variants
The item is offered as one product line with two variants:
- For TEP-2 eyeletting press / toggle press: Mechanical version for presses with this holder logic. For circle cutter punchings, the screw press is not suitable.
- For spring-strike press: Only for the spring-strike press; with integrated spring for ejecting fabric discs.

- You also need the circle cutter in the desired size and the backing plate for circle cutter.
Application
- The holder keeps the circle cutter in the upper tool position and works together with the backing plate for circle cutter at the bottom.

Assembly
- No tools needed: screw the holder into the top of the press.
- Insert the circle cutter into the holder from below.
- Place the backing plate for circle cutter on the lower mount.
- Components are pre-assembled and ready for use after mounting.
Safety
- The circle cutter is very sharp. Avoid contact with the cutting edge and beware of cut hazards.
