Product information "Decorative rivets shapes (25/100/125/500/1000)"

These decorative rivets set decorative accents: you choose a head shape and a size in millimetres, suitable for straps, bags, clothing or small leather goods. The name components in the range refer to pack units — the actual quantity per order follows the selected quantity variant.

In the listing you combine shape (e.g. hemisphere, heart, pyramid, diamond, arrow), size and quantity. This lets you control the look and cover needs from sample piece to larger stock.

For setting you need a Getmore Crafts press and a decorative rivet tool in the matching size for the selected rivet. For this product no separate pre-punching with a fixed hole diameter is required.

Are these decorative rivets or tool shapes?
These are decorative rivets as consumables. The shape refers to the head shape of the rivet, not a tool insert.
What do the numbers for quantity mean?
These are pack units. You order the quantity that belongs to the selected quantity variant.
Do I need to pre-punch?
No. For this product no separate pre-punching with a fixed hole diameter is required.
Which size should I choose?
The mm size determines the visible head size and must match the matching decorative rivet tool. Smaller values look subtle, larger ones stand out more.
Which tool do I need?
For hemisphere decorative rivets you need a decorative rivet tool in the version matching the selected rivet size, used in a Getmore Crafts press. Choose specific tool items to match your rivet size. For all other decorative rivets you need no special tool and can use e.g. a standard pliers.
Can I set the rivets with the TEP-2 or spring-strike press?
Only the hemisphere decorative rivets. All other shapes cannot be processed in a press.
How do the shapes differ?
In the silhouette of the visible head — from classically round to geometric to motif-based. The choice is mainly a design decision.

Shape

  • Hemisphere: Round, classic head — often universal for subtle to bold accents.
  • Heart, pyramid, diamond, arrow: Motif shapes for more pronounced or thematic details.

Size

  • 5 mm to 12 mm (including intermediate values such as 5.5 mm, 9.5 mm, 10.5 mm depending on variant): The size determines the visible dimension of the head and the matching tool choice.

Quantity

  • 1, 25, 100, 125, 500, 1000: Pack units — you choose the quantity for sample piece, small series or stock.

Typical uses

  • Bags, backpacks, wallets
  • Belts, straps, accessories
  • Clothing and decorative seams
  • Jewellery, bracelets, small leather goods

How to decide on size

  • The larger the desired visual impact of the head, the more likely larger mm values
  • On delicate surfaces rather smaller sizes so the motif does not overpower
  • Always plan in combination with the matching decorative rivet tool for the selected size

With Getmore Crafts

  • Hemisphere decorative rivets are intended for processing with Getmore Crafts presses. For this you need a decorative rivet tool in the size matching the rivet — the tool size follows the selected mm size of the rivet. These tools fit the TEP-2 or spring-strike press.

  • All other shapes can be processed without a special tool. You can use a standard pliers for this.

Other manufacturers

  • For tools and rivets from other systems we cannot guarantee function — your system decides pressing force, mount and tool geometry.
