Product information "Lever Press TEP-2 B-stock"
The eyeletting press TEP-2 is a compact lever press for textile, leather and DIY projects. It forms the basis of the Getmore press system with 1/4"-20-UNC thread on top and a 19 mm bore below for the two supplied bushings.
With matching pressing tool you set fasteners in a controlled and repeatable way. The press is designed for hobby, occasional use and small series; for high series load we recommend a mechanically reinforced press.

Is pressing tool for eyelets or snap fasteners included?
No. The press is supplied without application tool. For each application and size you need the matching pressing tool separately.
Can I process DIN 7332 eyelets with the TEP-2?
No. The press is intended for standard eyelets, not DIN 7332 eyelets. For DIN 7332 we recommend a spring-strike press or toggle press.
How large may standard eyelets be at maximum?
The upper limit for standard eyelets is an inner diameter of 17 mm.
Can I screw in tools from other manufacturers?
There is no documented approval or test list for third-party tools. Known are only 1/4"-20 UNC on top and a maximum tool build height of 3 cm. Use of untested tools is at your own risk.
How do I get spare parts?
Individual spare parts can be requested via customer service. Send an email or use support for this.
Do I need to maintain the press regularly?
No. No regular maintenance intervals are specified.
May I extend the lever to generate more force?
No. Extending the lever with pipe or similar can damage the lever.
Applications and functions
- Pressing standard eyelets , snap fasteners , hollow rivets (single and double head), decorative rivets, jeans buttons and shoe hooks with respective matching pressing tool

Workflow in practice
- Screw in upper tool part with 1/4"-20 UNC, insert lower part in matching bushing
- Align workpiece and carry out lever stroke in a controlled way
- For short jobs you can use the press mobile; for longer series side table mounting can make work easier

- Only standard eyelets , no DIN 7332 eyelets
- Maximum usable inner diameter for standard eyelets : 17 mm
- Button covering only up to button size 36
- No reliable specification for maximum material thickness
Setup and space requirements
- Table mounting is optional; two mounting screws are included
- For ergonomic lever operation you should be able to stand; at least 30 cm clearance above the press is advisable
Operating notes
- Do not overload the lever with pipes or extensions; this can damage the lever
- Thread adapters from M6/M8 to 1/4"-20 UNC are not recommended because usable build height is limited

- For button tools for covering with fabric use the supplied 9 mm bushing instead of the 12 mm bushing
